Cool Sys is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Service Technician to support our Engineering & Maintenance team in the HVAC wholesale industry. In this field-based role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC/R and refrigeration systems for retail, commercial, and mission-critical customers. You'll perform start-ups, preventive maintenance, and emergency service while ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Working in a collaborative, customer-focused culture, you'll use advanced tools and controls to optimize system performance, document service work, and partner with engineering and project teams.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems at customer sites
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize system reliability and efficiency
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues using proper test equipment
- Install, start up, and commission HVAC/R components and retrofits as required
- Recover, charge, and document refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations
- Complete accurate service tickets, reports, and documentation in a timely manner
- Collaborate with engineering, dispatch, and sales teams to resolve customer issues

- Provide on-site technical guidance and excellent customer service
- Participate in ongoing technical training and certifications to maintain skills
