Maintenance Technician

Job Title

This position involves a variety of responsibilities including communication with coworkers, vendors, and residents. It requires a positive attitude, leadership skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role demands organization and prioritization, identifying and reporting issues to management, and completing service requests in a timely manner. Maintenance tasks include preparing vacant apartments for leasing, removing trash and debris, repairing or replacing windows, painting, and performing carpentry, electrical, appliance, plumbing, and HVAC work.

The position also involves maintaining lighting, clearing snow, performing general grounds duties, and conducting routine preventative maintenance. After-hours on-call services and overtime work may be required. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs. and climbing ladders. Candidates must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
