Position Summary

Under the supervision of the ACFS Director or Supervisor, coordinate the Adventure Youth Program serving tribal youth of various ages. All ACFS staff must adhere to mandated reporting laws. This is a grant‑funded position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with tribal community departments, agencies and staff to plan and implement programs.
  • Attend all trainings for Project Venture implementation.
  • Facilitate classroom lessons from Project Venture curriculum.
  • Plan and conduct adventure challenges for tribal youth.
  • Plan and implement one‑week summer camp for tribal youth.
  • Design and implement community service projects.
  • Keep all records on program and complete all reporting requirements of the Department of Justice.
  • Carry out activities as described in the original grant application according to the approved timeline.
  • Attend all mandatory trainings and technical assistance meetings sponsored by funder and technical assistance providers.
  • Adhere to client confidentiality and comply with ACFS policies and federal regulations under the Privacy rules of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality and present a positive, professional demeanor and image at all times.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Public Administration or related field.
  • Three years of related experience required.
  • Experience working with youth.
  • Experience with Native American communities.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and have good computer skills.
  • Must be able to pass background check to meet the employment eligibility requirements as they pertain to the position.
