Job PurposeThe Registrar will provide administrative and program support by coordinating activities of assigned administrative personnel, monitoring data analysis, and providing information, recommendations, and/or direction as requested by assigned administrator(s).
Job Responsibilities- Maintain a wide variety of manual and electronic documents, files, and records to provide up-to-date information and historical reference in accordance with established administrative guidelines and legal requirements.
- Respond to and initiate a variety of inquiries from internal and external stakeholders in order to provide or receive information, school records, or facilitate communication among parties.
- Advance the mission and vision of the School District and the Agency.
- Display professionalism and leadership by following established school, agency, federal policies and procedures.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
Additional Requirements- Knowledge of Federal and State laws, regulations, policies and procedures relevant to the education division.
- Ability to exercise judgement and discretion.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
- Understand, execute, and convey complicated oral/written instructions.
- Limited overnight travel.
- This position performs duties relating to the custody, control, transportation, or recapture of youth within the jurisdiction of the Department of Juvenile Justice, and the employee may have direct and indirect contact with youth. Training applicable to these duties will be provided.
