SJC Partners is recruiting on behalf of a well‑established law firm in York for a Post Completions Assistant to join their busy property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail‑focused individual to join a supportive legal environment, assisting with the post‑completion stages of residential property transactions.

The Role You will be responsible for supporting the conveyancing team with all post‑completion matters, ensuring files are accurately finalised and compliant.

Key duties include:

• Submitting and managing Land Registry applications
• Dealing with SDLT submissions and returns
• Handling requisitions from HM Land Registry
• Updating case management systems accurately
• Preparing and organising completion documentation
• Liaising with fee earners, clients, and third parties as required
• Ensuring all post‑completion tasks are processed in a timely and compliant manner

About You The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a conveyancing or post‑completions role
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good understanding of the conveyancing process (desirable)
• Confident communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, deadline‑driven environment
