The Project Support Technician provides administrative, technical, and project coordination support to engineering and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle. This role assists with project documentation, tracking schedules and deliverables, maintaining project records, coordinating meetings, and supporting communication between project stakeholders. The Project Support Technician helps ensure projects are executed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company procedures and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Support project managers and engineering teams with day‑to‑day project coordination activities.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, logs, and records.
- Track project schedules, action items, deliverables, and status updates.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes.
- Assist with data entry, document control, and project reporting using Microsoft Office applications.
- Monitor project correspondence and ensure timely distribution of information to stakeholders.
- Support procurement, staffing, and other project‑related administrative functions as needed.
- Generate reports, spreadsheets, and presentations to support project execution and management reviews.
- Ensure compliance with Fluor procedures, customer requirements, and quality standards.
- Experience supporting engineering, construction, industrial, or technical projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Experience with project controls, document management systems, or project management software is a plus.
