Job Description Summary Job Description

Addressing the climate crisis is an urgent global priority, and at GE Vernova, we take our responsibility seriously. That is the singular mission of GE Vernova: to continue electrifying the world while simultaneously working to help decarbonize it.

Are you passionate about innovation? Are you excited at the opportunity to electrify and decarbonize the world? We operate with a founder’s mindset. We deliver innovation with passion, speed, and courage. We continuously challenge our thinking and are empowered to dream big and take smart risks.

The Aeroderivative Industrialization team is responsible for transforming strategic opportunities into scalable, repeatable capabilities that improve customer support across GE Vernova's LM2500, LM6000, and LMS
100 fleets. While these engines share their core heritage with aerospace applications, power generation operates in a fundamentally different environment. Industrialization is the deliberate adaptation of supply chain strategies, repair procedures, design features, and operating limits from aerospace-specific standards to aeroderivative use, creating new pathways to increase material availability, unlock additional repair opportunities, expand operational flexibility, and differentiate our products in the marketplace.

Industrialization plays a critical role in GE Vernova's ability to improve depot turnaround time and serve a growing customer base. Industrialization expands supply, broadens repair scope, and increases operating flexibility, enabling more parts and engines to move through our depots faster while improving fleet readiness, customer outcomes, and long-term business performance.

What impact you’ll make

As an Industrialization Intern, you will work at the intersection of strategy and execution, helping operationalize industrialization initiatives across the aeroderivative portfolio. You will support project acceleration through schedule development, governance processes, standard work creation, business analytics, and cross-functional coordination with engineering, supply chain, sourcing, repair development, product management, and services teams. This role provides unique exposure to how complex technical, operational, and supply chain challenges are translated into measurable business results and improved customer value.

What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities)

  • Support execution of aero industrialization projects by maintaining schedules, action trackers, milestone plans, risks, and cross-functional follow-up items.
  • Develop and improve standard work, operating rhythms, and governance processes that enable consistent project execution across the industrialization portfolio.
  • Assist in building and maintaining integrated project schedules to accelerate industrialization initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Analyze project data, timelines, and business priorities to identify opportunities to improve execution speed, project visibility, and decision quality.
  • Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Repair Development, Product Management, and Services teams to coordinate project activities and deliverables.
  • Prepare concise status updates, dashboards, and project summaries that communicate progress, risks, decisions, and support needed.
  • Support prioritization and intake processes for industrialization opportunities by collecting, organizing, and analyzing business and technical data.
  • Facilitate project reviews, working sessions, and cross-functional team meetings by documenting actions, decisions, owners, and next steps.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing cycle time, improving process efficiency, and accelerating project delivery.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
