Customer Service Representative

George Thomas has partnered with a leading packaging manufacturer that services the global Market.

We are actively recruiting a highly effective Customer Service Representative responsible for serving as the primary contact for their Fortune 500 customers in the food, beverage, industrial and consumer healthcare market.

Location: The role is onsite at their manufacturing facility based in the Spartanburg Region, SC.

Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Customer Service Team leader NA.

• Ability to build relationships with customers, serving as the primary contact
• Utilizing ERP systems to execute the order entry process in accordance with time constraints
• Liaise with quality, supply chain, sales, and planning departments to meet customer expectations
• Maintain accurate customer master files.
• Acquire an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s current products and services and new product lines and services as they are introduced
• Ability to learn and expand knowledge across all product lines

• Business Qualification preferred. Customer Service Experience is required
• Experience with in a high speed manufacturing plant is preferred.
• Demonstrated proven record of accomplishment of successfully developing and executing customer service strategies
• Team player with the ability to communicate cross-functionally with all group members.
