We are seeking a qualified, friendly, and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will help deliver exceptional dental care that makes our patients feel like family.
The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and possesses a calm demeanor that helps children and parents feel at ease. A well-qualified applicant will hold a current CDA license, have at least two years of experience, and possess an active nitrous oxide certification.

Responsibilities- Assist the pediatric dentist during a variety of dental treatment procedures
- Provide gentle, supportive care to pediatric patients and help manage child behavior during appointments
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Capture digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain a clean, organized and sterile work environment
- Support team members and office operations as needed
- Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocols
- Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure through the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)
- Current/active Nitrous Oxide certification
- Minimum of two years of dental assisting experience (pediatric experience preferred)
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
Must be available to work at both Mount Pleasant locations (Zip codes 29464 and 29466)
Twice a month, during the school year, hours extend from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m.
