Royal Surgical Associates is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join a respected cardiothoracic surgery team at a hospital near Mt. Pleasant, SC. They are seeking OR coverage only.
This contract is ideal for advanced practice providers who thrive in fast‑paced environments and are comfortable with high‑volume caseloads, including first‑assisting and endoscopic vein harvesting.

- December 2025 Coverage only – 1 month
- Full‑time schedule Mon‑Fri
- Shared call 1:3
- Competitive pay up to $150/hour, commensurate with experience
- 1099 contract structure for increased take‑home pay
- All travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided
- Streamlined credentialing and onboarding process
- First‑assist in high‑volume cardiothoracic surgeries
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists, and hospital staff
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery
- Strong first‑assist skills and proficiency with EVH
- NCCPA certification with active South Carolina licensure
