We are looking for an energetic, nurturing Preschool Teacher to join The Goddard School in Mount Pleasant, SC. Our teachers are the heart of our school and play a central role in providing a safe, dynamic, and nurturing environment for children ages six weeks to six years.

• Coordinate the daily operations of assigned classes.
• Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities in a safe environment.
• Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
• Maintain child–teacher ratios and ensure resources for classroom success.
• Communicate with parents through mobile apps and discussions, sharing children’s progress.

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
• 3 years of previous experience in early childhood education (preferred).
• Successfully completed state‑required pre‑service training.
• Knowledge of childcare programming, safety, emergency first‑aid procedures, program management, and customer service principles.
• Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty.
• Works productively without supervision within established organizational policies and procedures.
• High motivation, good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dependable, adaptable, enjoys teamwork.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding listening and follow‑up ability.
• Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multitasking to ensure smooth school operations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. for handling children. Infant and young toddler teachers must properly lift infants into and out of a crib.

$16.50 – $22.00 per hour.
