Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Licensed Professional Counselor opportunity is available in Mount Pleasant, SC, within a school setting, providing support and guidance to students while fostering their academic and personal development. This contract position offers a consistent 35-hour workweek with a start date as soon as possible through May 29, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to support students emotional, social, and academic needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans.
• Conduct assessments and create treatment plans tailored to student needs.
• Assist students in crisis situations, offering timely and appropriate support.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality policies.
• Facilitate workshops and programs aimed at enhancing student well-being and coping skills.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Counseling or Social Work is required.
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential preferred through the state licensing board.
• Proven experience working within school or educational environments is a strong advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
