Education ​/ Teaching Instructor, Art ​/ Design Teacher

Yo Art! Inc. enhances classroom curriculum by introducing media arts programs that inspire curiosity and impart real-world skills. Through dynamic projects, students engage in learning via discovery, discipline, and creativity. Programs emphasize the development of coding, photography, filmmaking, and design skills. Yo Art aims to nurture creative thinking and equip students with valuable tools for the future.

This is a full-time, on-site Instructor role based in Mount Pleasant, SC. The Instructor will engage students in interactive classes focused on media arts, including coding, photography, filmmaking, and design. Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, supporting students in honing their creative and technical skills, and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Additional tasks include preparing materials, assessing student progress, and collaborating with fellow educators to enhance the program.

• Strong skills in teaching techniques, effective communication, and classroom management
• Experience or proficiency in media arts fields, such as Coding, Photography, Filmmaking, or Design
• Ability to plan, organize, and execute creative educational projects
• Experience working with diverse student populations, particularly in educational or artistic settings
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Art, Media Technology, or a related field is preferred
• Passion for inspiring creativity and helping students develop technical skills
• Flexibility, patience, and enthusiasm for working in a team-oriented educational environment
