Make an Impact Everywhere You Go. Grow Your Career.

At Magical Beginnings, we believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and engaging start to their educational journey.
With Care, We Care® —and that belief is at the heart of everything we do. As a trusted leader in early childhood education across Massachusetts, our award-winning childcare and preschool centers provide exceptional care and learning experiences where children thrive socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.

We’re seeking a compassionate, adaptable, and EEC Certified School wide Support Teacher to join our team. If you enjoy variety, thrive in a collaborative environment, and love the opportunity to make a difference across multiple classrooms and age groups, we’d love to meet you.

As a School wide Support Teacher, you’ll be an important part of the center’s teaching team, providing coverage and support wherever you’re needed. Whether you’re stepping into an Infant, Toddler, Preschool, or School-Age classroom, you’ll help create a consistent, positive experience for children while supporting teachers and maintaining the high standard of care our families expect.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide flexible classroom support and coverage across the center based on daily staffing and program needs.
  • Step confidently into Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and/or School-Age classrooms while adapting to the developmental needs of each age group.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children wherever you’re supporting.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with children and provide responsive, compassionate care throughout the day.
  • Support classroom teachers with daily routines, transitions, activities, meals, rest periods, and other classroom responsibilities.
  • Implement and participate in developmentally appropriate activities that encourage children’s social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development.
  • Provide attentive supervision and maintain appropriate child-to-teacher ratios in accordance with EEC regulations and center policies.
  • Follow established classroom routines, curriculum, health and safety procedures, and individualized care needs.
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environments.
  • Support children through transitions, peer interactions, big emotions, and changes in routine using positive guidance and age-appropriate strategies.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, families, teachers, Center Directors, and other members of the team.
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and leadership to ensure continuity of care when providing coverage.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism when priorities or classroom assignments change throughout the day.
  • Observe and respond to children’s individual needs, interests, personalities, and developmental stages.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing opportunities to grow as an early childhood educator.
  • Bring our With Care, We Care® philosophy to every classroom by treating every child, family, and team member with kindness, respect, and genuine care.

What We’re Looking For

  • Massachusetts EEC Teacher Certification required, dual certification (Infant Toddler and Preschool) preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • CDA, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare center, daycare, or early childhood education program.
  • Strong understanding of infant development and developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Excellent communication…
