Electrical Service Estimator - Greenville, SC

We are growing and are adding an Electrical Service Estimator to our team in Greenville, SC.

A Service Estimator is responsible for cost calculations to determine how much it will cost a company to complete a project or provide products and services to its clients. They do this by researching the costs of the materials, transport, labor, and equipment. Service Estimators mostly focus on Service‑related projects, typically $2 million or less in electrical contract value, in the region they are located in.

• Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor, and equipment
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors
• Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame
• Assessing the risk levels associated with a project
• Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done
• Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyers
• Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs
• Travel to assigned projects as needed to gain a better of the work

• Minimum of 2 years of field experience in electrical construction, industrial and commercial
• Ability to multi‑task in a high volume, fast paced work environment with very tight deadlines
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to travel periodically
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Accubid Anywhere and Live Count Cloud software OR the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software
• Strong overall computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software, as well as industry-specific software
• Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively
