Position SummarySeamon Whiteside is seeking an ambitious and talented professional for the role of Civil Engineering Project Manager in our growing Mount Pleasant, SC office.
DescriptionThe Civil Engineering Project Manager will develop their skills in project, employee, and client management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in civil engineering design, project management, leadership, and client relations. Responsibilities include overseeing project success, managing budgets, schedules, stakeholder coordination, civil design production, QA/QC processes, and resource management. The role also involves mentoring team members and demonstrating leadership both internally and externally.

RequirementsMinimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 5-10 years’ experience, preferably with a civil design firm or construction background
- Attend project meetings and coordinate with clients, agencies, and contractors
- Prepare permit submittal packages and technical specifications
- Develop civil infrastructure reports and manage project workloads
- Make engineering decisions and communicate effectively
- Handle construction administration and project closeout tasks
- Engage in community involvement and continuing education
- PE exam taken, EIT certification required
- Knowledge of project proposals and ability to coordinate with consultants
- Project management proficiency and client contact skills
- Experience with civil design documents and reviews
- Valid driver’s license and municipal experience preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Teamwork and creative thinking
- Attention to detail and positive attitude
