As the Chemical Process / Production Engineer, you will be the go-to expert for day-to-day production support across batch and continuous operations. Non-Negotiables
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering is required
- At least three years of experience as a process or production engineer in a PSM-regulated chemical plant
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
- Hands-on familiarity with process unit operations such as reactors, distillation, polymerization, and dryers
- Experience implementing change management processes including MOC, PSSR, and hazard reviews

Responsibilities
- Provide daily production support for batch and continuous chemical operations, including troubleshooting process and equipment issues
- Track production yields, perform mass balances, and drive process improvement projects to enhance productivity and reliability
- Manage continuous improvement initiatives that elevate safety, quality, and cost performance
- Participate in process safety management (PSM) initiatives, audits, and change management processes such as MOC and PSSR
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for safety, quality, and production events
- Assist with training of operations teams on standard operating procedures and statistical process control
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with one or more reaction chemistries such as mass polymerization, esterification, or nucleophilic substitution reactions
- Hands-on experience with unit operations like distillation, filtration, rotary dryers, and dense-phase pneumatic conveying
- Six Sigma or Lean certification with a track record of leading continuous improvement projects
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and statistical quality control (SQC) techniques
- Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis for production upsets and quality issues
- Knowledge of process safety management (PSM) elements including PHA, MOC, and P&
