Part Time Scan Coordinator Backup

Overview

This is a part‑time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires maintaining price files, shelf tag accuracy, and all store signs.

All associates must be at least 18 years of age.

• Take excellent care of customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Maintain accurate price files, shelf tags, and store signage.
• Participate in and complete required training, working with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in a full training program and work collaboratively with the team.
• High‑school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, memos, and to write simple English correspondence.
• Ability to present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small‑group settings to English‑speaking customers, clients, and associates.
• Mathematical skill: add and subtract two‑digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
• Reasoning ability: apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Certificates, licenses, registrations: completion of company training including but not limited to new‑hire orientation, customer service network, safety, scanning coordinator technical skills training, and Scanning Coordinator certification.

• Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Occasionally required to climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and reach from 6–72 inches.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, color perception, and depth perception.

• Occasionally exposed to wet, hot, or cold conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Noise level is usually moderate.
