Inmate RCDS Auditor- Centra Classification & Inmate Records, Columbia; RICHLAND

Responsibilities

• Conducts manual audits of inmates scheduled for MAXOUT, court ordered supervised furlough II, community supervision, and supervised reentry releases to ensure accuracy of information entered into the automated system.
• Analyzes, interprets, and enters legal documents on all inmates within sixty days of scheduled projected MAXOUT.
• Conducts audit of the MAXREL screen on inmates scheduled for MAXOUT.
• Process court ordered releases and remote releases.
• Coordinates with health services any offenders who must be DNA tested prior to release.
• Conducts record review audits and sentence time/credit verifications as needed and/or requested by criminal justice entities.
• Coordinates w/appropriate law enforcement agencies the pick-up of inmates who are released.
• Provide technical assistance to institutional staff, judges, attorneys, and other law enforcement agencies.
• Conduct other duties as needed by supervisor.

A high school diploma and experience in records management, information systems, or office administration.

• A high school diploma and two (2) years’ experience in records management in analyzing/interpreting court documents.
• A bachelor’s degree may be substitute for experience.
• May require certification by SLED on NCIC operation.
