Job Description American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for an outpatient clinic setting, requiring 2+ years of MRI experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Responsibilities Outpatient clinic setting in an MRI department Day shift schedule of 5x8-hour shifts, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM Monday–Friday, with some weeks including a Saturday shift (8:00 AM–4:00 PM) in place of one weekday shift No on-call requirement May float to West Ashley and Mt. Pleasant facilities as needed Charting via Epic No holiday coverage required First-time travelers are accepted for this position Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local;

non-local candidates are prioritized Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on manager and unit needs Online orientation modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment Teal top and black pants scrubs required Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams;

peak activity months are August and September

Requirements Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required Current BLS (AHA) and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required SC state license is not required for this position — license required if applicable Radiation badge required; must be provided by the traveler's agency prior to start SSN and Driver's License required for consideration 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
