TIAG is seeking a Field Technician/Installer at a Level II experience. The Technician should be able to demonstrate experience in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of Department of Defense (DoD) Electronic Security Systems.
This position plays a vital role in sustaining mission readiness by ensuring the optimal performance of critical equipment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
Travel:
Ability to travel up to 75% CONUS; opportunity for OCONUS travel. Prefer candidates with active passport and international travel experience.
Clearance:
This position will require a government clearance to be processed, so US Citizenship is a requirement.
This is a full-time position; 40 hours/week.
A Level II Technician handles more complex service requests, performs independent diagnoses, and is expected to provide support to Level I staff. This role requires a solid foundation of technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibility Focus Area Quarterly Goal On site Technician Conduct Preventive Maintenance according to schedule.
Deliver Preventive Maintenance reports to Senior Technicians for review.
High-Level Support Manage a defined queue of service tickets
Successful completion of corrective maintenance in a timely manner to prevent downtime.
Training & Mentorship Develop and deliver training programs for all technical staff.
Implement a new training curriculum and OJT for Level 1 technicians.
Education:
Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional certification.
Experience:
2-4 years of proven experience as a Level I Technician or equivalent, with 2 core areas of expertise in (Lenel, AMAG,Bosch,Milestone,DMP etc)
Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance, US or Naturalized Citizenship is required.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various hardware and software issues.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Working knowledge of network configurations and protocols.
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
