Technology Field Support
This role brings on 2 individuals to assist with the influx of tickets they are receiving (broken chrome books due to students traveling from virtual to in‑person learning, troubleshooting due to new application with COVID, new school builds, new device swapouts, etc.). The technicians will work directly with the Lead Field Technicians to support a portfolio of schools (typically 8‑10) in a zone.
Technicians should be good at following directions, able to work in a group and independently, and have previous hands‑on computer experience.
Assist with ticket resolution for school technology issues across multiple schools each day. Drive between schools in the assigned zone, following routes that may be assigned based on residence.
Qualifications- 2+ years computer/mobile device troubleshooting with strong hands‑on experience.
- Ability to connect and troubleshoot IT hardware (laptops, desktops, Smart Boards) to power supply, network, and Wi‑Fi.
- Experience with technology troubleshooting such as network or display connection issues.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with non‑technical individuals (teachers, students, staff, and administration).
Mileage will be paid out at the standard IRS rate ($0.56 per mile). Hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
