Tumeq is hiring a Payroll Administrator for our Mount Pleasant, SC office. The Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing and administering payroll for multiple subsidiary companies in a fast-paced, multi-state environment. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and adherence to company policies. The ideal candidate will bring prior payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume payroll operations across multiple legal entities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate payroll processing for various schedules (weekly, bi-weekly, etc.).
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and errors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports, including tax filings.
- Maintain employee records and benefits administration as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software including ADP.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with HR practices and labor laws.
- 3-5 years previous experience processing payroll
- Multi-State and Multi-Corporation experience a plus
