Value Stream​/Manufacturing Manager

Salary:$120,000 - $150,000

• Lead fabrication, welding, and manufacturing operations within a highly customized Engineered-to-Order environment
• Manage and develop a team of approximately 45 production employees
• Drive performance in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and profitability metrics
• Coordinate production schedules, staffing plans, and resources to meet customer demand and delivery commitments
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Quality teams to optimize manufacturing processes and workflow
• Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Utilize data-driven problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and implement sustainable improvements
• Support new product introductions, automation projects, and capacity expansion efforts
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and welding certification requirements
• Build a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee development

Type:
Direct Hire

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Operations, or related field is preferred
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in welding, fabrication, or metal manufacturing operations
• Strong experience in an Engineered-to-Order (ETO), custom fabrication or a project-based manufacturing
• Knowledge of welding processes, fabrication methods, engineering drawings, and quality standards
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly preferred
• Experience with Value Stream Mapping
• AWS Certified Welding Supervisor (CWS) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) will be a huge plus!
• Experience with robotic welding, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives will also be a huge plus!
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
