Sunday Night through Thursday Night
Hours:
11:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
As a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in supporting production operations by safely operating equipment, maintaining product quality standards, and ensuring efficient manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities- This position is responsible for loading materials, operating machinery, monitoring production output, and preparing finished products for packaging and shipment.
- Additional responsibilities include performing normal cutoff roll operations, restarting boilers and compressors as needed, applying cement throughout the production process, and blasting rolls when required.
- Machine Operators are also expected to assist in training team members, support continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
- This position requires the ability to identify and address minor operational issues, follow work instructions accurately, and contribute to a safe and productive manufacturing environment.
- The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED and have previous manufacturing, machine operation, or industrial experience.
- A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate production equipment safely and efficiently are essential.
- Candidates must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, maintain a high level of attention to quality and safety standards, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- This role requires the ability to lift, move, pack, and handle production materials and finished goods throughout the shift.
- Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, while also supporting team members through training and collaboration when needed.
- Candidates must be willing and able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety policies and procedures.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to achieving production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment are essential for success in this role.
