Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Physician Practice - Signature Primary Care

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Address: 180 Wingo Way, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 (anticipated location in April 2026). In the interim, the position will be based out of Kiawah: 660 Freshfields Drive, Suite 210, Kiawah, SC 29455.

Given that our office operates as a concierge practice, our care service is distinct from traditional primary care offices. We limit our practice to a maximum of 450 patients to ensure personalized and attentive care. This allows us to foster stronger relationships with our patients and provide more individualized attention.

On average, we see around 10 patients per day, excluding lab or nurse visits. This manageable patient load enables us to offer comprehensive and unhurried consultations, ensuring that each patient receives the time and care they need.

Additionally, we offer a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of both our patients and staff. Every other Friday, we operate on a half-day schedule, which helps maintain a balanced work environment and enhances our ability to deliver high-quality care consistently.

Job Summary

Provides patient care at Roper St. Francis Health Care sites, as assigned, using approved protocols. Facilitate the timely communication of clinical advice to patients electronically or by phone as directed by practice providers. Ensure all needed medical records are available to care teams and providers prior to patient’s office visit. Coordinate with other team members to provide exceptional patient service. The RN will receive training on the Electronic Health Record system (EHR).

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • Experience: One to two years RN experience, preferable.
  • Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina or holds a current compact/multi-state license as a Registered Nurse in a recognized NCSBN Compact State and is not a permanent resident of SC. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.

  • Knowledge/

    Skills:

    Requires the ability to use clinical equipment including EKG machine, spirometer, Hemocue, Pulse Oximeter. Must have basic knowledge of medication policy and procedure and effectively utilize assessment skills for triage and patient care. Must be able to assist physician with outpatient office procedures. Strong patient-centered focus. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public.

    Ability to organize and manage competing priorities. Ability to problem solve and show good judgment.
