• On the Medical Surgery unit, oversee diverse adult medical and post-surgical populations, coordinating evidence-based practice, streamlined throughput, and seamless transitions of care.
• Champion nurse-sensitive outcomes, mentorship programs, shared governance, and an environment where clinical education, competency development, and patient-centered excellence are at the heart of daily operations.
• Report to a visible and collaborative Chief Nursing Officer, supported by engaged assistant leaders, experienced charge nurses, and dedicated clinical educators.
• Guide staffing strategies, budgets, regulatory readiness, and performance improvement while partnering with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, hospitalists, surgeons, therapists, case managers, pharmacists, and ancillary professionals.
