• Under general supervision, provides direct nursing care to patients.
• Provides care through nurse-driven protocols and medical provider guidance and directions.
• Assists providers with evaluation, health screenings, treatment plans, referrals, education, emotional support, and preventative care.
• Duties include providing diagnostic tests and treatment modalities.
• Ensures positive patient care outcomes are achieved.
• Works with other members of the healthcare team, family, and/or caretakers to provide compassionate care to the patient.
• Ability to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.
• This position is established in support of expanded research activities.

• Capable of providing individualized training for the participants, representatives and attendants.
• Must be capable of providing group training.
• Must meet OSHA requirements for blood borne pathogen training.
• Serving several counties of South Carolina
• A state vehicle is provided.
• Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to USC/SCDHHS compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and have at least 2 years experience as a licensed registered nurse in a public health, hospital or long term care setting working with persons with disabilities and/or who are aging/elderly
• 2 years experience with the Attendant Care Project
