Urgent Care LVN/LPN PT- 30 Hr per week Pay Rate: $37.17/hour

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide hands‑on clinical care in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare setting. The LPN/LVN will perform patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, assist with vaccinations and testing, collect vital signs and specimens, document patient information, and collaborate with healthcare providers to support high-quality patient care. Candidates should have experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings and be comfortable working in an outpatient clinical environment.

Part-time position. 3 weeks of required training/orientation. Regular schedules are created in 6-week blocks following training. Typical schedule consists of 2–3 weekdays plus every other weekend. Shifts may range from approximately 7–10 hours, depending on clinic needs. Must be available to work some major holidays. Must be available for the full initial 3-week training period.

• Provide direct patient care and support healthcare providers
• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications within scope of practice
• Perform routine patient assessments
• Monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature
• Evaluate patient conditions and document treatment responses
• Perform phlebotomy and collect patient specimens
• Assist with vaccination services and patient education
• Perform point-of-care testing
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects or drug interactions
• Perform appropriate mental health screenings
• Obtain and accurately document patient medical histories, including illnesses, medications, allergies, surgeries, and family history
• Educate patients regarding medications, self-care, and disease management
• Assist patients with healthcare access and community resources
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
• Keep the clinical environment clean, organized, and properly stocked

• Current, active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license
• License must be in good standing
• License must have no current or prior disciplinary actions
• Compact licenses must be issued in the candidate's primary state of residence
• Current BLS certification required
• BLS expiration date must be at least 30 days beyond the anticipated start date
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of related healthcare experience
• Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room
• Experience with:
  Phlebotomy Vaccine administration Point-of-care testing Experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Epic experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and patient-care skills
• Ability to work the required weekday, weekend, and holiday schedule

Important Experience Requirement Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to long-term care, nursing homes, home health, LTAC, or skilled nursing facilities are not the target profile for this position. The role requires clinical experience that translates well to a fast-paced outpatient healthcare environment, particularly Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room experience.
