In this specialized lab role, you’ll create custom medications—like capsules, creams, lollipops, and more—for patients who need alternatives to mass‑produced drugs. You’ll work under the guidance of licensed pharmacists and get valuable exposure to both non‑sterile and, potentially, sterile compounding practices.

• Create custom medications and compound unique formulations including capsules, oral liquids, topical creams, troches, suppositories, and more.
• Label & prepare prescriptions—accurately fill, label, and pre‑package medications for pharmacist verification and patient use.
• Maintain inventory & safety standards—monitor chemical stock, receive supplies, manage safety documentation (SDS, Certificates of Analysis), and handle hazardous materials safely.
• Keep the lab clean & compliant—perform routine cleaning and environmental monitoring to ensure the lab meets all regulatory standards.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Compounding laboratory experience a plus, but not required.
• Pharmacy Technician Registration/Certification a plus

• Attention to detail is a must.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Standards for quality, cleanliness and safety must be consistently met.
• Must be collaborative and able to perform as part of a team.
• Knowledge of and follow applicable standard operating procedures.
• Ability to take direction and be coached.
• Must be able to learn applicable regulations and adhere to them at all times.
• Knowledge of applicable pharmacy software(s) a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple math.
