The Post Doctoral Fellow will conduct research in polymer chemistry and materials science under faculty mentorship, with possible projects including reactive extrusion, high-performance composites, and polymer materials. The position is located in the Chemistry and Biochemistry department at the University of South Carolina in Richland County and includes supervising research assistants and laboratory personnel.
Key qualifications- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- Expertise in synthetic polymer chemistry
- Familiarity with polymer analytical techniques (NMR, IR, GPC, TGA, DSC, rheology)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
