Bartender

Tavern & Table on Shem Creek is designed to be that local gathering place where friends and family get together for classic cocktails and spectacular handcrafted food in a comfortable setting. The inventive menu, created by Executive Chef Denis Crutchfield, celebrates the flavors of the Low country focusing heavily on seasonal produce and locally sourced meats/seafood, using modern and rustic techniques. We are currently seeking AM & PM servers for our patrons.

• Responsible for setup, maintenance and operation of the bar.
• Takes orders from patrons and prepares and serves alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
• Mixes ingredients for cocktails and serves wine and bottled or draft beer.
• Rings drink orders into register, collects payment and makes change.
• May also wash and sterilize glassware, prepare garnishes for drinks and prepare and replenish appetizers.

• 21 years old
• Outgoing personality
• Experience providing excellent customer service
• Ability to communicate with a team
• Able to multi‑task in a face pace environment
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Ability to stand and stay active for long periods of time
• Maintaining standards of cleanliness and following health code requirements
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Reliable Transportation
• Timeliness and urgency is mandatory

• Bartender $3.50 p/hour, Bar Back $5.00 p/hr (taking home cash and credit card tips nightly)
