Jewelry Sales Associate

Hermosa Jewelry is a small, female owned jewelry brand with two retail locations in the Charleston, SC area. We specialize in manufacturing handcrafted beaded jewelry and permanent jewelry. We are looking for a motivated individual who loves people to join our fun and encouraging team. You will learn the ins and outs of a small local jewelry business while becoming connected to the Charleston Community.

• Work at our Charleston, SC location
• 32-40 hours per week
• Retail and/or sales experience required
• Must be able to work at least two Saturdays per month
• Must be available to work on holidays (excluding Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day)

• Genuinely interested in jewelry and fashion
• Knowledge of jewelry and metals is preferred (training provided)
• Organized and detail oriented
• Driven and motivated
• A team player with a good attitude
• Flexible and able to adapt and solve problems quickly
• Able to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Must have excellent eyesight + steady hands
• The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Reliable transportation

• Operating cash register and balancing drawers
• Maintaining a clean and organized store
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Sizing and Welding Permanent Jewelry on customers (training provided)
• Shipping online orders
• Receiving new stock and updating inventory levels
• Increasing store sales
• Achieving established goals
• Assisting with private parties after hours and pop up events
