Position: Program Compliance Staff

Summary

Program Compliance Staff is responsible for protecting our premises, assets and personnel. The role maintains a high visibility presence and prevents all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.

  • Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
  • Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
  • Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
  • Evict violators
  • Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
  • Report in detail any suspicious incidents
  • Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
  • Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
  • Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
  • Perform first aid or CPR
Skills
  • Proven work experience as a security guard or other relevant position
  • Trained in deescalation
  • Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
  • Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
  • Surveillance skills and detail orientation
  • Integrity and professionalism
  • High school degree
Religious Qualifications
  • Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ demonstrated through a profession of faith.
  • Actively participate in and remain in good standing with a local Christian church.
  • Support and uphold the mission, values, and Christian principles of House of Hope of the Pee Dee.
  • Demonstrate spiritual maturity, integrity, humility, and compassion.
  • Have a passion for serving individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship.
  • Be willing to pray with, encourage, and share the Gospel with residents, guests, volunteers, and staff when appropriate.
  • Exhibit Christian conduct consistent with Biblical principles both professionally and personally.

This is a third-shift position!
