The South Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator to maintain roads and bridges across Dorchester County. You will operate backhoe, excavator, front-end loader, and other medium to heavy equipment on construction, repair, and preservation projects.
Responsibilities include grading, pouring concrete for curbs and sidewalks, clearing drainage structures, setting up safe work zones per SCOOT manuals, and assisting in emergency operations.
