Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing glass, storefront systems, curtain walls, mirrors, shower enclosures, and other glazing products in commercial and residential settings. This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, fit, install, and replace glass and glazing materials.
- Install storefront systems, curtain walls, entrances, doors, windows, mirrors, railings, and shower enclosures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and finishing of installed products.
- Remove damaged glass and safely dispose of materials.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and project managers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of glazing, glass installation, or related construction experience.
- Familiarity with commercial and residential glazing systems.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience with storefront systems, curtain walls, and commercial construction projects.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- CDL or equipment operation experience.
- Ability to lead crews or mentor apprentices.
