Operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances between customer service centers and customer facilities or work sites outside of the service center's geographic area;
Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles before beginning trip;
Meet or exceed the medical and DOT requirements and pass drug/alcohol tests;
Ensure loads are stable and properly secured for transit;
Record delivery information using tablets/phones and be available for around-the-clock shifts requiring time away from home
