General Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Primary Responsibilities

Operate a dump truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Transport materials such as gravel, sand, asphalt, or other construction materials to designated locations.

Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads for transport.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, materials transported, and any incidents that occur during transport.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.

Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the job site.

Experience

1. Proven experience in truck driving, specifically with dump trucks or similar vehicles.

2. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy vehicles.

3. Familiarity with automatic or manual transmission vehicles.

4. Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently.

5. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance practices and safety regulations in the trucking industry.

Schedule and Compensation

1. Full-time

2. $20/HR (Non-exempt position)

3. Monthly Safety Bonus of $100 to all that qualify

4. Yearly Safety Bonus of $1,000 to all that qualify

5. Paid Vacation, Sick Days, Christmas Bonus

6. Provided all eligibility requirements as set forth in the controlling Plan Documents are satisfied, group health insurance is currently available for full-time employees of Quality Haulers of SC, LLC.
