As the Warehouse Coordinator you will provide support for warehouse operations, including the shipment of goods. You will coordinate the assignment of all trailers at dock doors and inter‑company shuttles and facilitate communication to all warehouse associates related to daily work assignments and operational needs of the company. This position will assist the supervisor with paperwork, policies, and other general office activities.
The role offers an opportunity to contribute to our operational excellence while working in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day administrative functions of the warehouse, working with the supervisor and hourly associates to provide organization and guidance within the warehouse. This position allows you to understand the company and how each department plays an important role in getting the finished product out the door.
And Responsibilities
- Check in all inbound/outbound loads and drivers.
- Assist with the flow of all palletizers, transfers, rails, shipments, inbound supplies and all trucks.
- Help hourly associates with scanning as needed.
- Assist with the daily inventory, storage and movement of all packaging materials, ingredients and finished product.
- Answer phones and radios.
- Open palletizers in the WMS to match current production.
- Generate pallet tags.
- Make copies of bills of lading, filing.
- Assist with tracking hourly performance to ensure team and company metrics are met.
- Help enforce policies to stay within internal, federal, state and local regulations.
- Responsible for compliance of GMP, Fire codes, insurance guidelines, sanitation, pest control, safety, OSHA, FDA and TTB.
- Responsible for proper shipment of finished product and packaging material along with stock rotation.
- Enter P.O./Returned Material Authorizations finished product/shipping material receipts.
- Record empty and full drop trailers.
- Assist supervisor with implementation and adherence of all warehouse SOPs and policies.
- Support the Packaging, Customer Service, Brewing, Accounting, Purchasing and Quality Assurance departments.
- Assign load patterns.
- Provide guidance to associates and assists with on‑the‑job training as needed.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Past warehouse/manufacturing experience highly recommended.
- Team oriented.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Computer skills required.
- WMS experience a plus.
- Highly organized and self‑motivated.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Inventory experience preferred.
