Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Front Desk/Receptionist, Clerical
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to join our mental health clinic team. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers, creating a welcoming and supportive environment while ensuring efficient clinic operations. The receptionist responsibilities include:
Answer and route incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Be able to operate a multi-line telecommunications system.
- Greet clients, visitors, and community partners with courtesy and compassion.
- Direct walk-in clients and visitors to the appropriate staff members or services.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments daily.
- Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Assist with patient registration, intake paperwork, and data entry.
- Monitor the reception area to ensure a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Respond to general inquiries and provide information about clinic services.
- Support staff with filing, scanning, and other office duties.
- Coordinate communication between clients and clinical staff.
- Assist with financial intakes when needed.
- Print and distribute routine schedules/service reports
Incumbent must be highly organized with multi-tasking skills, and capable of managing requests from multiple staff in a high traffic/high noise setting. Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior mental health experience preferred. Ability to communicate and work effectively in a fast-paced work setting; ability to plan, implement and prioritize assignments. Prefer bilingual skills English Spanish and work well in a team setting .
Work Schedule: 8-5 Mon-Fri (Full-time)

High School or better.
Experience RequiredSix months of work related experience.
