Assist the Special Education Director; implement the Special Educational assessment process. Assess the educational, learning styles, and program needs of students referred to special education services.
Educational RequirementsMaster's Degree
Certificate/License RequirementsValid Texas Certification in any of the following:
Educational Diagnostician Certification, Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP).
Classroom Teacher, ARD IEP, and Formal Assessment, Experience working with special needs individuals in an educational setting.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities RequiredOrganizational skills, Good communication, Interpretation of Assessment Data, Special Education Regulations, Ability to work with a team in collaborative manner.
Physical/Mental DemandsCarrying large files and technology from campus to campus, must be physically and mentally capable of working with active, mentally and behaviorally challenged students. MPISD DOES NOT SPONSOR H1-B VISAS
