Primary leadership role overseeing credit and non‑credit health science education across the college, including marketing, program management, curriculum development, and partnership with health industry stakeholders.

• Lead the health science division, including management of department staff such as administrative assistants, student advisors, program directors, and faculty.
• Develop and implement innovative curricula that meet employer and accreditation requirements.
• Recruit students and faculty, and manage operational logistics of major grants and contracts.
• Serve as liaison with external agencies, community organizations, and internal college constituencies.
• Represent the college in the community and on the college instructional leadership team.
• Foster a collaborative environment that empowers team members to excel.

• Master’s degree in a health science related field – required.
• Doctorate degree in a health science related field – preferred.
• Minimum five years of combined teaching and leadership experience in higher education.
• Experience in curriculum development and accreditation processes (e.g., SACS CO, TX HECO, CAPTE, CoAEMSP, CAAHEP).
• Demonstrated leadership ability, excellent written and oral communication, and collaborative leadership style.
• Knowledge of distance education programs.
• Strong analytical and budgeting skills.
