Requirements- Education:
High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s Degree or 48 hours of college preferred. - Certificates/License:
Able to obtain a Paraprofessional Certificate. - Experience:
Experience working with children/youth required (e.g., babysitting, volunteer work, church group, care of siblings/minors, educational prep-programs). - Abilities:
Good communication skills with students and adults; bilingual preferred (English and Spanish). - Physical/Mental Demands:
Withstand demands of working with students. - Extracurricular Duties:
Duties as assigned (hall or bus duties). - Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
