Overview
Guaranty Bank & Trust is seeking a full‑time, on‑site CRA/BSA/HMDA Compliance Specialist to support regulatory compliance efforts for the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
Responsibilities- Assist in collecting, reviewing, and reporting the bank’s CRA and HMDA data to ensure regulatory reporting standards and data integrity.
- Assist the BSA Coordinator with daily reports and research.
- Review and correct currency transaction reports for accuracy.
- Perform OFAC reviews.
- Oversee adverse action review and preparation of notices.
- Assist in CRA, HMDA, and BSA related communication and training with bank personnel.
- Assist in collecting and recording community development activities for CRA.
- Work with the CRA/HMDA/Fair Lending Officer and BSA Coordinator to manage corrective actions from reviews or exams.
- Cross‑train in various duties of the department as needed.
- Manage files and documentation and perform special projects as needed.
- Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned.
- Perform other tasks assigned.
- General knowledge and understanding of bank lending and deposit operations.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong decision‑making, analytical and investigative abilities with diligence and accuracy.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional and financial documents.
- Respond to changes in the business or compliance/regulatory environment and job requirements.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience within the financial services industry, preferably in lending, BSA/AML, and/or CRA/HMDA.
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a 1‑hour lunch break.
Work LocationOffice at either the Longview or Mt Pleasant location. Must live within 30 minutes of the chosen site.

Physical DemandsTypical duties include prolonged computer use, sitting, and occasional standing or walking. The job requires the ability to use hands and fingers for repetitive motions, to lift or reach within safe limits, and to operate routine office equipment. Compensation & BenefitsStarting salary is based on experience and geographic location.
