Retail Banker – Branch Banking

Woodforest National Bank is a privately‑owned, employee‑stock‑owned bank that serves communities across the United States. As a Retail Banker, you will be the face of our organization and will provide customers with a wide range of banking products and services.

• Achieve individual sales goals by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services that best meet customer needs.
• Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance.
• Handle branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of automated teller machines.
• Employ problem‑solving skills to address customer inquiries and/or concerns in a manner consistent with the Woodforest Experience training.

Minimum Qualifications /

Experience:

• 3 years of relevant, transferrable sales and/or customer service experience; OR an Associate’s degree with 1 year of relevant, transferrable sales and/or customer service experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous in‑store banking experience is preferred but not required.
• Positive, engaging demeanor.

Formal Education & Certification:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Status: Full‑time.

Supervisory Responsibility: None.

Travel: Little to no overnight travel expected. Occasional business travel to nearby branches up to 45 miles may be required.

Working Conditions: The job involves standing most of the time, walking, moving, bending, stooping, or sitting for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 30 lbs.
