Bilingual Front Desk Team Member / Director of First Impressions (D.O.F.I.)

Pay: $16.50 hour
Schedule:
Full-Time | 12-hour shifts, 8 AM–8 PM | 30+ hours per week
Bilingual English/Spanish required

HealthCARE Express is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Bilingual Front Desk Team Member / Director of First Impressions (D.O.F.I.) to join our Mount Pleasant team.

Our D.O.F.I. team is often the first and last interaction a patient has with us, so this role is about much more than checking patients in. You'll help create a welcoming experience for our patients while keeping important front-office processes moving throughout the day.

• Welcome patients and verify information at check-in
• Communicate with patients in both English and Spanish
• Answer phones and assist patients with questions
• Verify insurance and maintain accurate patient accounts
• Collect payments, post charges, and provide receipts
• Scan and maintain patient documents and reports
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
• Keep front-office forms and supplies organized and stocked
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and team members
• Cross-train and step in where needed to support the clinic

We're looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
. Strong communication, customer service, and basic computer skills are important for this role.

Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this position. You should be comfortable communicating with patients in both languages throughout the workday.

Previous medical office or clinical experience is helpful, but we're also interested in people who are eager to learn and genuinely enjoy helping others.
