MIG WELDER

Purpose: As a MIG Welder, you’ll utilize cutting‑edge techniques and equipment to weld components in different positions, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. With a focus on safety and attention to detail, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our 5S Safety Standards while fabricating and assembling trailer parts. If you possess strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence, then we want you to be a part of our team.

• Fabricate various trailer components and assemble components to the trailer, using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment.
• Follow and maintain the 5S Safety Standards.
• Weld components using manual or semi‑automatic welding equipment in various positions (1G, 2G, 3G, 4G).
• Prepare, assemble, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.
• Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and the work area.
• Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.
• Perform basic fitting operations and inspection of material fit up to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for the precise production of technical plans, drawings, models and blueprints of MIG welding.
• Basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments.
• Must be able to weld components that are vertical, flat, or overhead.
• Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
• Must be able to see details at close range.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Shows great attention to detail in their work to maintain extraordinary quality standards.
• Frequent exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold and airborne particles.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
