Role OverviewThe Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) is responsible for the coordination of clinical activities of the Wound Care Center, including patient care assessment, planning, implementation, and quality improvement. The position works in collaboration with the Program Director and the Medical Director to meet the Center’s program objectives and ensure optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Provide case management to a group of patients, delivering specific assessments according to protocols and procedures, and performing clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management.
- Organize and prioritize clinical responsibilities, and provide clinical oversight to clinical staff including RNs, LPNs, LVNs, CMAs, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians.
- Collaborate with other health care providers, key hospital personnel, and Wound Care Center providers regarding clinical and patient needs.
- Identify and implement process improvements while complying with HIPAA, Department of Health, hospital, and Healogics requirements.
- Engage in staff development, providing general and individual instruction and orientation.
- Recognize staff through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback.
- Coordinate program objectives from a budgetary and financial perspective in collaboration with the Program Director.
- If the program provides Vein Care services, coordinate the vein clinic and assist in care after training.
- Collaborate with the Program Director and Medical Director to achieve Wound Care Center quality indicators.
- Act as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) in accordance with Healogics and hospital policies.
- Perform hyperbaric safety director duties and operate the chamber or serve as an emergency chamber operator after required training.
- Provide patient care based on Center staffing needs.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) – minimum required;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. - One year experience as an RN required; two or more years preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Wound care certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Planning, organization, prioritization, and time‑management skills.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and convey information in layman’s terms at all organizational levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong customer service, follow‑up, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Leadership, team‑building, and motivational skills.
- Research and teaching skills.
- Change management and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred.
- Working knowledge of hospital databases and web‑based databases.

SalaryThe salary for this position generally ranges between $70,600.00 and $95,100.00 annually.
