Registered Nurse - Acute Orthopedics

Role: Experienced nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex patient care while managing contingencies and long-term goals.

• Providing nursing care based on the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administering medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Documenting patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assessing learning needs and educating patients, families, and caregivers, while identifying issues and resources.
• Delegating tasks to other care providers to effectively manage clinical situations.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• BLS certification required.
