- Provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe service to customers and process Checkout and/or Return transactions.
- Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area.
- Proactively seek product/project knowledge to provide customers with information and identify selling opportunities.
- Follow policies and procedures to minimize shrink.
- Assist the Head Cashier by expediting price checks, approving Point of Sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
- Provide first-level escalation for customer issues.
- Assist in the supervision, coaching and training of Front End Associates; participate in training of new Cashiers and use available tools to coach and develop others.
- Preferred qualification for Head Cashier: 1+ years of Cashier experience.
